How can young people be prevented from slipping into right-wing extremism? The "outreach distancing work"-approach aims to sensitise youth workers to potential risks of joining extremism and to give them confidence in dealing with strong prejudices. This highly topical basic work analyses discriminatory behaviour, guides the initiation of distancing processes and enables the planning of strategic measures in cases of hardened misanthropy. Practical skills are taught with the help of a toolbox of methods.
